Exporting & downloading

Every figure and every layout can be downloaded; every analysis can be exported as a Word report; and the Method section of every analysis carries the methods text for your manuscript. This page is where each of those lives.

Downloading a figure

Download a figure

Under the figure → Export (or Figure styling → Export) → Format: PNG, SVG (vector), PDF (vector), TIFF – LZW (smaller file) → DPI → Download

PNG and TIFF are rasters at the DPI you set (300 for print); SVG and PDF are vector and scale without loss — most journals accept PDF or TIFF.

Copy a figure to the clipboard

Under the figure → Copy

Pastes into a document or slide as an image.

Download a layout

Analyses drawer (☰) → the organizer → Export → format, DPI → Download

The whole grid with its panel letters, as one file.

Export a table

Results → Export table: → CSV / Excel

The statistics table (ANOVA, coefficients, means with letters) as a spreadsheet.

The Word report

Export the full report

Results → Figure styling → Export → Export full report (Word)

One .docx with the Method section (design, test, post-hoc method and the software line “Software: MinutePlot® (version …, Opimis AB, Gothenburg, Sweden; https://minuteplot.com)”), the assumption checks, the statistics tables, the figure and its caption.

Methods text and the citation sentence

Copy the methods text

Results → Method section → ▸ Methods text for your manuscript → Copy

A paragraph written from your actual analysis — test, design, post-hoc method, α — followed, after a paragraph break, by the citation sentence “Statistical analyses and data visualizations were performed in MinutePlot® (version …, Opimis AB, Gothenburg, Sweden; https://minuteplot.com).” The version is the one Settings → About shows.

Caption wording

The caption that matches the figure as styled: what the bars, error bars and letters denote.
